The main character is a "Rescue Robosapien Robot" called Cody, built by Alvin Tofler (who happens to be the real designer of the Robosapien Humanoid Robots. Cody's job is to rescue people from dangerous situations a job in which he excels, but then the bad military types get involved wanting to use him as a weapon. After Cody gets damaged he is rescued and rebuilt be a small and gentle boy who lives with this mother and sister. Alvin is introduce to his mother to give the love angle.
The movie is action packed and emotionally charged from the start, it grips and pulls you in and it shows the morale dilemmas faced by AI developers and the possible future of humanoid robot friends.
I bought it for a friends son and his autistic brother, both of whom interact with the Robosapien V2 and other robots I fix, repair and program and they love it. Its a real family movie and well worth a watch.
If you are into Humanoid Robots then this is a great movie as it shows what machines like the Robosapien V2, Bobi Bobi and NAO could become in the future.
