Over the past year or so I've been fixing robot toys, watch them go through their programmed routines and handing them back. But with the advent of increasingly sophisticated Cameras and Apps in Phones and Tablets I realised that these toys could be used to make amusing or thoughtful short animated movies. Here is what I've been up to. How I did it. What Apps and Software I used. Enjoy.
This video came about after 2.5 year old Oliver, his mum Katya and I had finished playing with his favourite toy, my MAGNEXT iCOASTER. He only gets to build and play with it supervised. But he was concerned that Tiny Robot would sneak up and play with it when he wasn't here.
Tiny Robot is a Mini Robosapien
So his geeky Uncle fixed1t arranged for his Tiny Robot to sneak in and Play with my
MAGNEXT iCOASTER Metal Ball Roller Coaster
The mini Robosapien and the MAGNEXT iCOASTER are toys little Oliver and I fixed, he's so keen when he comes round and good with his Bob The Builder Plastic Screwdriver, he fixes everything with it and loves it.
I mentioned in Part 4 I had received a 3D VR Headset for Christmas and rather than it being a cheap cardboard headset it was a decent quality headset. I was so impressed with it I've made a unboxing video, please take time to watch it and share it.
